Walking in the Haut Marais

Began the day wandering around the narrow streets of the Haut Marais.

The old streets are full of expensive fashion boutiques and art galleries and such like. The shop above was actually selling clothes not bread.

Spent some time in the Picasso Museum.  Very informative about his life and the development of his art.

Dinner was modern French at a place just round the corner called Le Mazenay.  It had only been open since June but seemed to be doing very good business.  A beautiful beef casserole and a fillet of Zander (fish from the River Loire) were consumed with exquisite millefeuille for dessert.

I actually was in the Picasso Museum three times! First time on my own, and because I liked it a lot with Benek when we were visiting Paris together, and with Marcin on another occasion! It looks like you had a nice day for sightseeing…
